Slaked lime, or hydrated lime (chemical formula Ca(OH)₂), is a fine white powder obtained by hydrating highly active quicklime. The hydration process occurs under controlled conditions, ensuring stable physicochemical properties and high reactivity of the material.

Application Packaging Storage

Application

  • In various mortars, brick production, and aerated concrete blocks
  • In dry construction mixes: plasters, grouts, fillers
  • In the chemical industry: for producing soda ash, in the production of calcium carbide, bleaching powder, Bertollet salt, synthetic rubber, etc.
  • In environmental protection: flue gas desulfurization; wastewater neutralization; water parameter regulation.

Packaging

Hydrated lime (slaked lime) is packed in polypropylene bags (weight by agreement), MBR up to 1000 kg.

Storage

The warranty storage period for slaked (hydrated) lime (slaked lime) is 30 days from the date of shipment. The shelf life, when storage conditions are met, is 6 months from the date of shipment.

Supply of slaked (hydrated) powdered lime

Tarpaulin-covered semi-trailers (Euro trucks)

Delivery is carried out in big-bags (MBR) of 500–700 kg with an internal polyethylene liner that protects the product from moisture and CO₂. Transportation is performed using flatbed or tarpaulin-covered semi-trailers.

Open-top railway wagon (69 t)

About 72 big-bags of 500–700 kg each are placed in an open-top wagon, in one or two tiers — depending on the type of wagon and the height of the bags.
